Custom City Map Quilts by Haptic Labs

Haptic Labs makes custom quilts featuring hand-stitched maps of your favorite city. Above is Paris.

One-of-a-kind custom Soft-Maps can be commissioned for any place on earth, at any scale: the small town you grew up in, the city or country you’re lonely for, or the college campus where you met your mate. These functional art pieces make unforgettable wedding and anniversary gifts and are heirlooms meant to last for generations. Each custom quilt is crafted entirely by hand in Brooklyn and takes 200+ hours to complete. Lead times for custom orders run between six and twelve weeks.

I adore this. I’d love to have one for every major city I’ve lived in: Chicago, Cincinnati, Seattle, Moscow, and St. Louis.

@Court True! That would be a great project…. If only had the time and patience to learn how to properly sew.

These are so unique. What a great way to remember a city.
